Ivan Kavtea - born in the village of Ocnita 1949, Moldova. Since 1999 lives and works in Germany education:

1968-1974 republican art school named after I.T.Repin, Chisinau, Moldova.

I.T.Repin, Kishinev, Moldavia participating in creative unions:

since 1980 member of the Artists Union of the USSR (youth association)

1988 member of the Union of Artists of Moldova

1992 member of the Union of Artists of Moldova

2002 member of the Union of Artists of Germany (Saxony).

1978-1999gt. participation in numerous exhibitions in Moldova, Russia and other republics of the former USSR

1999-2016gt. solo, group exhibitions in Leipzig, Berlin and other German cities.

2017-2023 painted a church in his native village Ocnita.

Works are in private collections in different countries, also in the National Museum of Moldova.
