The picture is painted from a nature study, created in a creative trip to Altai, which is a very special place in Russia ... a place where you can see high mountains, turbulent rivers, open spaces with rare animals and birds living in them, where the palette of colors expands with every day of staying there, and sunsets acquire a golden color, where every inch of land is imbued with inspiration...
Rethinking a small sketch leads to interesting results....
Somewhere you understand that you need to leave an immediate first impression, colors and tone close to the original sketch, but in some places of work you need a more subtle coloristic analysis and much closer attention to details, without striving to increase their number many times, so that the integrity of perception is not disturbed.
It is interesting that in Altai a horse often enters an aesthetic and full-fledged landscape as a special lyrical accent... it is very curious to count the number of these entrances to the chosen landscape during a week of stay there.
There are places that reconcile us with many unfulfilled things in life... Altai is one of them. Traveling to those places makes a special contribution to the feeling of the unique harmony of the artist's path.
In a picture it is very difficult to convey the state one feels when returning to one's native land, where the soul is unforgettably happy. And before you is my attempt to share my feelings at such a moment.....
